With a variety of accommodations, there is something for families of every size. Stay in the classic tower rooms for convenient access to the heart of the resort, with the option of suites or connecting rooms for added space and comfort. For larger families, the Signature Condos are a favorite, featuring multiple bedrooms, spacious living areas, and full kitchens. Guests of the Signature Condos also enjoy access to the member-exclusive Yacht Club pool, hot tub, and beach.

Once settled in, make your way to Whitewater 360 Sports Club, a lively spot for casual dining and family time. Enjoy classics like hot dogs and pizza while catching the game on the big screen before heading out for an evening activity.

As the sun sets, experience the Whitewater Putting Course, an 18-hole illuminated course perfect for friendly family competition. Wrap up the night with complimentary s’mores by the fire pits on Palm Patio before heading in for a restful night.

Day Two: Poolside Relaxation & Lake Adventures

Start the morning with breakfast at J’s Restaurant, where parents can enjoy fresh omelets and coffee while kids dig into pancakes or eggs. Grab a latte or cold brew from The Market before heading toward the lake via complimentary resort transportation.

Spend the day at the Waterfront Floating Pool, where you can reserve a daybed or relax poolside while kids splash and play. Just steps away, Pirate’s Cove Playground adds even more fun for little ones, located right next to the sand volleyball court.

Play a few rounds of volleyball before enjoying a poolside lunch delivered from Waterfront Bar and Grill. Tasty nachos, fresh salads, frozen cocktails, and kid favorites like cheeseburgers and chicken tenders make it easy for everyone to settle in and stay awhile.

In the afternoon, head out on Lake LBJ in style aboard one of our new Nautique boats or Bennington pontoons. Enjoy wakeboarding, tubing, or simply cruising the calm waters with a trained captain or at your own pace. For younger guests, dockside fishing offers an easy and engaging way to join in the fun, while the Horseshoe Bay Resort Marina  invites families to explore Lake LBJ at a slower pace by kayak or paddleboard (resort guests enjoy one complimentary hour of both activities each day). Kids can also enjoy seasonal favorites like junior angler fishing tournaments and kayak skill camps, designed to build confidence on the water and create lasting memories (be sure to check our calendar for upcoming event dates). Before heading out, stop by the Marina Ship Store, stocked with children’s beachwear, toys, and all the essentials for a perfect lake day, along with plenty of great finds for mom and dad as well.

After a full afternoon on the water, head back to your room to shower, relax, and refresh before the evening, then enjoy a laid-back family dinner or keep the night flexible and open ended.
