  • Israel Castillo

    Israel Castillo

    Director of Racquet Sports

    Israel Castillo brings more than 30 years of teaching experience to his role as Director of Racquet Sports at the Mouratoglou Tennis Center at Horseshoe Bay Resort. With 15 years as a director at leading resorts and clubs, Israel oversees all tennis and pickleball programming, from adult team development to high-performance junior training. His passion for coaching and dedication to player growth have made him an integral part of the resort’s racquet sports community.

  • Steve Parks

    Steve Parks

    HEAD PICKLEBALL PROFESSIONAL

    Steve is a PPR and RSPA certified pickleball professional with more than 12 years of coaching experience, most recently at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, North Carolina—one of the nation’s premier racquet facilities. Since 2018, he has built a strong reputation for delivering fun, high-energy instruction that helps players of all levels improve their strokes, strategy, and movement.

    At Horseshoe Bay Resort, Steve works alongside Director of Racquet Sports Israel Castillo to continue expanding the resort’s pickleball program and create engaging experiences for members and guests.

  • Rhea Verma

    Rhea Verma

    Head Tennis Professional

     

    Rhea Verma has been playing tennis for over 21 years and brings a wealth of competitive experience to the court. Originally from Canada, she was ranked Top 5 nationally in juniors, won the Canada Games, captured six ITF titles, and achieved a career-high ITF junior ranking of No. 185 in the world. Rhea went on to compete professionally on the ITF Tour before playing Division I tennis at the University of Louisville, where she reached a national doubles ranking of No. 16.

    With years of coaching experience, Rhea works with players of all ages and skill levels, from beginners learning the fundamentals to high-performance juniors and advanced adult competitors. Her goal is to help every player improve their game while building confidence and enjoying the sport.

  • Alexandra Glebova-Ward

    Alexandra Glebova-Ward

    Tennis Professional

     

    Alex played collegiate tennis at Florida State College and the University of Texas at El Paso, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a Master’s in Exercise Science. At just 15 years old, she achieved the highest ranking of #8 in Russia. After a successful playing career, she seamlessly transitioned into coaching, leading both men’s and women’s teams at the University of Texas at Permian Basin.

  • Andrea Farulla

    Andrea Farulla

    Tennis Professional

     

    Andrea hails from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and came to the United States in 2020 to play for the University of Louisville, a top Division I program. She later captured an NCAA title while earning her master’s degree in kinesiology at Barry University.

    At Horseshoe Bay Resort, Andrea works with players of all levels across the resort and member programs. She also leads the Mouratoglou Camps and Members’ Men’s Program. Before her collegiate success, she enjoyed a standout international junior career, competing in tournaments worldwide and representing Argentina in the Junior Federation Cup.
