Witness the sky come alive at the 12th Annual Balloons over Horseshoe Bay Resort! One of the most anticipated events of the year is back Easter Weekend 2026 at Horseshoe Bay Resort. Enjoy hot air balloons from across the United States.
Festivities include a Friday night VIP BBQ & Balloons event. Saturday morning (6:30-10:00 AM) features a hot air balloon glow, helicopter Easter egg drop, skydivers, breakfast foods, cocktails, and more. Saturday evening (4-9 PM) brings more fun with added Great American Kites, rock climbing wall, bungee trampoline, face painters, henna artists, food trucks, live music, and more.

Indulge in an unforgettable Easter Brunch, Sunday, April 5, 2026. Enjoy a culinary journey featuring favorites like an omelet station, blintz + French toast, Texas breakfast potatoes, citrus poached shrimp, smoked bone-in ham, carving stations with prime rib and smoked salmon, plus soup, salads and sides. Finish your brunch with delectable desserts.
Easter Brunch is included in both Balloon Festival resort guest packages.
Easter Brunch reservations are exclusively for resort guests and members of The Club at Horseshoe Bay Resort.

While we’d love for everyone to enjoy a ride, hot-air balloon flights will not be available due to safety regulations. But don’t worry—there’s still plenty of fun to be had with stunning balloon glows and tethered displays!
There are no restrictions on the type of bag you can bring to the event. You’re welcome to bring the bag that best suits your needs!
Please reference your confirmation email for Saturday Day Passes to find your parking pass. Upon arrival, our team will direct you to the correct lot. Guests staying at the resort can also park at the hotel and take a complimentary shuttle to the event grounds and back.
Yes, you can use this to transfer your credit/debit payments to cash for event currency.
We accept credit/debit Room and Member numbers. Once you pay, you’ll receive tickets that can be used as event currency.
Feel free to bring your lawn chairs to relax and enjoy the view near the balloons and other activities. There is also complimentary seating near the live stage.
