Hole Description

No. 12 is one of the most scenic holes on the course and has been known to spoil a professional's image. Although it can often be a short hole because of the prevailing winds, the boundaries on both sides, fairway bunker on the left, and narrow landing area, makes tee placement most difficult at times. The average player will most likely choose to hit a lay up shot short of the water and hit on the green in regulation. The professional or longer hitter can go for the green on his second shot, but must be careful of the water in front, to the right and behind the green. Do not hit to the left too far, in order to stay clear of the traps guarding the left side of the green. There are two traps on the left side of the green instead of one. Most shots will bounce a little to the right toward the water when you hit the green.
