Hole Description

No. 16, which is generally considered the most difficult hole on the course, sometimes permits a few pars. The fairway bunker on the right stops the average player from trying to cut over to the dog-leg right. A shot hit too far right can only lead to out-of-bounds and far left makes the hole play considerably longer. The 419 yards distance from the back tee is hardest when a long second shot is required to the elevated peanut shaped green. The bunkers surrounding the green have been known to break even the best player's score and any lofted club selected must be precise in distance in order to land and stay on the unusual shaped green. When the flag waves on the left front, a shot too far can land or roll into the bunker just beyond the green.
